Look! Up in the Sky is a comprehensive educational resource which has been written by a team of practicing and registered teachers for Primary school students.
The RFDS Education Program is a comprehensive look at the significant contribution the Royal Flying Doctor Service has made to Australia's history. We have designed a resource that focuses on key learning areas including, Civics and Citizenship, History, Geography, English, Science, Mathematics and is ideally suited to Grades 3-6.
A recent survey nationally revealed that less than 5% of Australian school students know about the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Our education program will introduce your students to the 174 pilots who fly 61 aircraft, 162 doctors and 196 nurses who save lives every day.
